AMA Membership
-
Membership Options: General Member or Committee Member
AMA offers two ways to get involved: members can join as General Members to attend events, workshops, and networking opportunities, or apply to be Committee Members, where they take on a more active role in planning initiatives, creating content, and contributing to the organization’s operations and growth.
-
General Members receive full access to AMA’s core community and opportunities, including:
The monthly AMA at Baruch newsletter, providing updates, opportunities, and event information
Access to the General Member group chat to stay connected with other members
Invitations to guest speaker panels featuring marketing and media professionals
They can also attend social events such as games, hangouts, and movie nights, network with peers across majors and interests, and stay engaged with AMA events, collaborations, and campus involvement.
-
Committee Members receive all the benefits of General Membership, along with expanded opportunities for professional and career development, including:
Hands-on experience building real, transferable industry skills
Committee-exclusive professional development workshops
Direct collaboration with the Executive Board on initiatives and projects
Committee Members also receive a National AMA student membership for $29 per year, which includes access to case studies, competitions, national panels, certifications, networking conferences, and more. Additional opportunities include office visits and eligibility to participate in AMA’s Mentorship Program.
